- Resin-specific processing and equipment requirements
- Tooling, cooling, haul-off and cutting configuration
- Sample or video acceptance options
How to Choose a Medical Tubing Extrusion Line
A useful equipment recommendation starts with a clear tubing specification. Share your drawing or sample together with the following requirements.
| Selection factor | What to provide |
|---|---|
| Material | Polymer type, resin brand and grade, with relevant processing guidance |
| Tube geometry | Outer diameter, inner diameter or wall thickness, tolerances and any special cross-section |
| Production requirement | Target output for the specified material and tube dimensions |
| Downstream handling | Cut length, cutting requirements, continuous winding and take-up needs |
| Checking & acceptance | Required checking methods, sample quantity, and sample or video acceptance criteria |
| Site & service needs | Power supply, available space, site location, installation and operator training requirements |
Final configuration, performance requirements and acceptance criteria are confirmed in the quotation and technical agreement. Suitability of the finished tubing for its intended medical application requires project-specific assessment and validation.
Trial Acceptance, Installation & Training
From pre-shipment setup to installation at your facility, confirm the delivery and support arrangements as part of your equipment order.
01 · Pre-shipment setup & trial run
Every machine is set up and trial-run before shipment. Trial material, sample requirements and acceptance criteria are agreed in advance.
02 · Sample or video acceptance
Depending on your requirements, trial-produced samples can be mailed for acceptance, or trial-run videos can be provided for review and approval.
03 · Confirmation & shipment
Complete the agreed acceptance process, then confirm the equipment list, documents and packing arrangements before shipment.
04 · On-site installation & training
We send technicians to your site to install and commission the equipment and provide on-site operator training. The service scope, schedule and related costs are agreed in advance.
Medical Tubing Extrusion FAQs
How do I choose between a TPU and a FEP tubing extrusion line?
Start with the material specified for your finished tube and its intended use. Share the resin grade, tube drawing, tolerances and production target. The equipment proposal is assessed against these requirements; a material choice should not be based on the machine name alone.
What information do you need to recommend an extrusion line?
Please provide the material and resin grade, outer diameter, inner diameter or wall thickness, tolerances, required output, cut length or winding needs, power supply and site location. A drawing or reference sample helps define the project.
Can I discuss other materials or special tubing structures?
Yes. Send the material specification, drawing and required tube structure for a project review. Availability and technical feasibility must be confirmed before a quotation or supply commitment is made.
How is the equipment accepted before shipment?
Every machine is set up and trial-run before shipment. According to your requirements, trial samples can be mailed for acceptance, or trial-run videos can be provided for approval. The trial conditions and acceptance criteria are agreed in advance.
Do you send technicians for installation and training?
Yes. We send technicians to the customer’s site for equipment installation, commissioning and on-site operator training. The service scope, visit schedule and related costs are agreed in advance.
